Corona Virus (COVID19) Updates

As COVID19 continues to disrupt our lives and change the way we live, AGL will continue to provide up to date information regarding ever changing Guild development. All updates and changes for individual AGL events will be posted on the Calendar as quickly as possible.

We realize the importance of art expression in all of our lives and we ask for your patience and support with the on going changes. We continue to move forward as much as we possibly can and continue to be optimistic about being able to share art interests with all of you again soon.

Workshops: The Larry Downs July workshop “You Can Draw” is rescheduled for August. Visit the Workshops page for details. We strive to keep the Workshop page up to date with the latest information.

Exhibits: In response to COVID 19 mitigation measures, all programs scheduled at Independence Park have been cancelled through the end of August. Therefore, the Spring Member Exhibit and reception normally held at Independence Park Theater Gallery have been cancelled. We have made arrangements for the currently exhibited Spring Judged Show to be judged. Award winners will be notified individually. Look for award winners and the winning artwork to be posted on the AGL Facebook page in the next couple of weeks.

Studio in the Park – With the Governor’s announcement extending phase 2 for 28 more days and new COVID19 cases/hospitalizations being on the rise, there has been no change in BREC’s guidelines for reopening. Therefore, the Studio in the Park will remain closed to the public and all open studios, life drawing sessions, workshops and picture day are cancelled through the month of July.

In the meantime stay safe, practice healthy hygiene, and keep painting!!
