A session of art fun to kickstart the new year! Come join local artist/instructor Larry Downs as he takes you on a fun adventure with poured acrylics. You may use either liquid acrylic or tube acrylic (which we will dilute). If you have never painted/experimented with Yupo paper you are in for a new experience. Yupo paper is a recyclable, waterproof, tree-free synthetic paper. It does not absorb paint so, can be washed clean under running water to use again. We will be doing just that as we try several approaches to painting on Yupo’s unique surface. While some artists willingly take on the challenge of controlled painting on Yupo, this class is geared to encourage you to experiment stress free. Larry will share his tips on how to manipulate the paint into beautiful, colorful shapes and designs.
